In February 2020 I had the honor of being chosen as this sweet girl’s confirmation sponsor.  Archbishop Jackels, who held mass, delivered the most beautiful, moving homily that both motivated and shared the importance of living a life that is always giving.

"In whatever you do, make sure you are living to give to others!" --That stuck.  

Later that year when first creating my care packages, I knew I wanted them to be extra special, different from the typical click and buy now options.  I kept coming back to that homily message, living a life that is always giving. 

It then clicked so clearly...LIVE. TO. GIVE. 

What if I created care packages that both comforted and prayed for the  recipient AND made a real impact on the world?

I couldn’t think of a better WIN-WIN, like a double whamming of serving others!

Through Live to Give I believe that we, my amazing, giving customers and I, are serving that mission together.

  • L2G Thank A Teacher

    When creating the Thank You Care Package I wanted to donate back to something that would be impactful.  Then it came to me, our TEACHERS! 

    They have worked so hard navigating unprecedented times teaching online, in person, and everything in between!  They are the perfect group to say “Thank You” to! Having taught for a decade myself, I know how expensive it is to make your classroom “just right”, a homey, safe learning environment with the fun smelly markers and all!


    I know our teachers will appreciate the extra support and will always enjoy kind words from others!

  • Two By Two

    My daughter came home from school with the cutest little stuffed animal dog named Scruffie. She was so excited to share with me all the things she needed to do, including teaching him to be kind and respectful. She planned to read to Scruffie, complete her companion guide with Scruffie, and even bring him to school each week!

    Scruffie was one of her highlights of third grade.

    When we created our Pet Loss Care Packages I knew immediately the perfect organization to support: Two By Two! With our donations we hope Two By Two can serve even more little girls and boys around the country in having their own “Scruffie Moments”!

  • St. Joseph's Church

    This donation makes me smile!  With our Prayer and Peace Care Package I wanted to donate to a cause that helped spread the good word! What a better way than getting our tiniest friends involved.  I love looking around Mass and seeing little artists enjoying their Children’s Bulletin!

  • One Tree Planted

    I LOVE trees! I love thinking about all the things they’ve “seen” as they have stood there for decades.  Trees bring me joy! I know that sounds silly, but the truth you can tell!  

    When thinking of a good donation fit for the Sunshine, Birthday, and College Care Packages, all bringing joy to others, I thought a tree being planted would be a perfect, joyful, kind deed!

  • Hospice of Jackson County

    When I was in college, a high school friend of mine lost her husband after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Since his passing, my friend has been a tremendous advocate of hospice care, raising awareness and support for the work they do.

    Although I will never understand the trials my friend went through, through the years I have a deeper appreciation for hospice care who helped her through that time.

    It was a clear choice when creating our Sympathy Care Package which organization we would be giving back to!. Hospice care and their employees are special people, helping those navigate some of their deepest times of sorrow. The world is a much better place because of their hearts and kindness and we are happy to support them.

  • L2G Give Back Grant

    Our Warrior Care Package serves as a reminder of how resilient one is.  When picking an organization to support, I kept coming back to the idea of “helping tap into unused potential” and “expanding your greatness by being resilient”.

    Then it occurred to me, Kids are resilient. What if we gave them the tools to create something great! Maybe something our adult “old” minds wouldn’t even think of!

    I’m excited to help enable our kiddos to be difference makers in their communities!  We love reading these applications, and supporting new and fresh ideas from our youth!
